Community Involvement
River Heights Veterinary Hospital strives to “give back” to the community. Staff is involved in the selection process to identify events or organizations that need our help and staff willingly donates their time and service.
Annually we participate in Kendall County Operation Santa, Fox Valley Animal Welfare Events, Relay for Life, Kendall County Food Pantry and host “Pictures with Santa” to raise money for local shelters and rescue groups. In 2011, Alexandra Juriga partnered with Kendall County Food Pantry to “Adopt a Family” each month of the year. River Heights Veterinary Hospital will donate the annual examination, vaccinations, intestinal parasite testing and Heartworm/Lyme Disease/Tick Disease testing as well as providing a years worth of preventative medications to all pets in a household of need.
We currently offer veterinary services at a discount to many rescue and shelter groups as well as advanced dental services to regional police departments, Brookfield Zoo and Shedd Aquarium.
